We have an opportunity for 2 (two) apprentices to join our organisation to complete their practical training needed to qualify as a Millwright

Responsibilities

• 1
• Assembly and Installation • Assemble hydraulic systems following engineering drawings and specifications
• • Install hydraulic systems in various applications ensuring adherence to detailed instructions and protocols
• 2
• Repair and Maintenance • Diagnose issues within hydraulic systems and perform necessary repairs to restore functionality
• • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
• 3
• Component Replacement • Replace worn or damaged components such as pumps, valves, hoses, and fittings
• 4
• Assembly and Wiring • Assemble electrical control panels by mounting components such as circuit breakers, relays, and terminal blocks onto back panels or sub-panels
• • Wire electrical components according to schematic diagrams, ensuring proper connections and adherence to electrical codes
• • Label wires and components for identification and ease of troubleshooting

• Troubleshooting • Identify malfunctions and failures within hydraulic systems
• • Determine root causes and implement effective solutions

Qualifications

• Education: Matric and/or Technical N3 (Math's, Science, Technical Drawings, Mechanical Engineering)
• Experience: Training from QCTO-registered trade school Min Two Years practical
• Must Have Complete Institute Training Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics
• Hydraulic skill will be an advantage
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in electrical assembly will be an advantage Good communication and people skills
• (Team Player) Willing to work overtime if required
• Willing to work under pressure
• Own Transport
• Medically fit
